About this item

Our Member's Mark™️ Pork Carnitas turn any meal into a fiesta! We take carnitas, which means "little meats" in Spanish, to the next level by using seasonings inspired by the Mexican state of Michoacán, the birthplace of carnitas. Marbled cuts of pork shoulder are braised low and slow, resulting in small morsels of tender, juicy meat that can be used in all of your favorite dishes. Two pounds of pork is more than enough to feed the whole family.

Get Restaurant-Style Pork Carnitas Right at Home

Carnitas are a delicious and versatile protein option for sandwiches, salads, wraps, tacos and burritos. This is a perfect dish for game day appetizers or after-school snacking. Prepare the carnitas in your microwave or air fryer for meat that's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Serve carnitas as a quick and easy meal with rice and beans or use it as a topping for nachos. Preparing meals has never been easier or more appetizing!

Cooking Instructions

OVEN: Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove product from pouch and place into an oven-safe pan. Cover with a tight-fitting lid or aluminum foil and heat for about 15 minutes or until product reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

MICROWAVE: Place pouch in a microwave safe dish and cut 2-3 small slits in the package. Microwave on high heat for about 6 minutes or until product reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

STOVE TOP: Remove the product from the pouch, place into a large sauté pan and cover with a tight-fitting lid. Heat over medium-low for about 10 minutes or until product reaches an internal temperature of 165°F, gently stirring every few minutes to ensure even heating.

AIR FRYER: Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Remove pork carnitas from packaging and place into preheated air fryer basket. Allow the pork carnitas to cook for 10 minutes (you may shake the air fryer basket halfway through to ensure even cooking). Remove the meat from the air fryer and transfer to a heat-stable container. Using a fork, gently shred the pork carnitas to your desired consistency. Serve.
