Tasting Notes
This Lemonade Canadian Whisky Cocktail features the signature smoothness of traditional Crown Royal Whisky combined with a twist of lemonade. Nose: Upfront juicy and aromatic lemon balanced with notes of oak and whiskey. Taste: Lemonade-forward and effervescent with enough sweetness to keep the palate round. Notes of wheated whiskey and oak come through as well but at a lower level and towards the end. Finish: As effervescence wears away, lingering notes of toasted oak and whiskey are balanced by juicy lemon notes through the finish.
About Crown Royal
Crown Royal was born as a gift for King George VI and Queen Elizabeth of England in 1939 to honor their royal visit to Canada. Approximately 600 blends were trialed before settling on the final exceptionally smooth blend of roughly 50 whiskies which was presented in a cut-glass decanter in a regal purple bag with gold stitching. Crown Royal was released in the United States in the 1960s and has since become the top-selling Canadian whisky. To this day, every drop of Crown Royal is crafted to meet the same uncompromising standards, making it, to many discerning palates, the finest whisky of all.
