About this item

Hey, have you heard about Banshee's vineyard selection for their Sonoma County Pinot? It's been getting better and better over the years! They're sourcing from 18 different vineyards, including parts of their Single Vineyard program. Plus, the final blend has 10 different clonal selections. This wine is really important to Banshee, and they put a lot of care into it.

The Winemaking Process

So, they handpick and destem the grapes, then ferment them in small, stainless steel fermenters at cool temperatures for around 21 days. After that, the wine ages for 16 months in 35% new French oak barrels from Cavin, Tremeaux, Dargaud, François Frères, and Jaegle.

What's It Like to Taste?

This wine is super exciting and friendly! It's full of aromas like macerated wild berries and has a soft, earthy undertone. The flavors are a mix of sweet and tart, kind of like Santa Rosa plums and wild blackberries that you can find all around Sonoma Wine Country. The finish is bright, slightly herbal, and savory, which makes it great to pair with food or just enjoy on its own.
