What's special about this cut of beef?

When you choose USDA Choice Angus Beef Ribeye Steak, you're choosing high-quality meat made from rib cuts. These steaks are suited for dry-heat cooking methods and result in juicy, flavorful and tender steaks. This quality of meat lets you serve memorable meals for special occasions or whenever you feel like firing up the grill. With the USDA Choice grade, you know you're getting quality meat for everyone to enjoy. These steaks are also from grain-fed cows, which gives the meat a natural and vibrant flavor in every bite.

How do you prepare Angus beef ribeye steaks in the oven?

USDA Choice Angus Beef Ribeye Steak is ideal for preparing in the oven or on the grill. For medium-rare steaks, coat the meat with oil and your favorite seasonings. Since these steaks are flavorful, salt and black pepper are ideal for bringing out its true flavor. Sear the steaks over high heat in a cast iron skillet for 30 seconds per side. Bake them in a 500°F oven for two minutes per side. For optimal juiciness and flavor, let the steaks rest before serving. For a medium steak, add one extra minute per side in the oven. For rare, have a meat thermometer available and cook in the oven until the internal temperature reaches 125°F.

How do you grill boneless ribeye steak?

Season the Angus steaks with salt and pepper, or go with your own favorite flavorings. For gas grills, preheat to medium-high. On a charcoal grill, use around 100 briquets to reach a high temperature, and make sure all of the vents are open during the heat-up process. For medium rare, beef ribeye steaks should cook for 3-4 minutes per side on a charcoal grill, or 2-3 minutes on a gas grill. Make sure to use your meat thermometer to test the internal temperature for the preferred level of doneness.

Steak Prep & Cooking Suggestions:

We suggest to cook steaks 1-2 days after purchase.

  • Preheat your grill to medium or use the broiler setting on your oven
  • For a medium steak, sear the first side for 5 minutes, flip and continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes until steak reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  • Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before cutting and serving; this will allow the juices to flow from the center to the exterior, resulting in a juicy and delicious steak.

Recommended Wine Pairing

For our Member’s Mark USDA Choice Angus Beef Ribeye Steaks, we recommend pairing it with a rich red wine such as the Decoy California Cabernet Sauvignon. Ribeye steaks and Cabernet Sauvignon are a classic pairing—you can’t have one without the other. The richness and bold flavors of ribeye steaks pair perfectly with the complex and robust flavor profile of Cabernet Sauvignon. The tender and juicy ribeye steak, with its marbled fat throughout, has a luscious texture that is complemented by the tannins in the wine. The tannins act to cleanse the palate and prepare it for the next delicious bite of steak. The deep fruit flavors, oaky notes and intense wine structure of the Cabernet Sauvignon is balanced by the meat's umami flavors. The pairing creates a beautiful balance of taste—succulent and savory flavors from the ribeye, and a full-bodied, rich taste from the Cabernet Sauvignon. Season your ribeye steaks with Kinder’s

Take your ribeye steaks to the next level with Kinder’s Butcher’s All Purpose Seasoning. It’s made with salt, sea salt, garlic, spices, sugar, chili pepper and paprika to give it a rich, well-rounded flavor. These flavors blossom when the meat is cooked on the grill or in the oven and the dual opening lid makes it easy to sprinkle or measure it for your favorite recipes. There’s a reason Kinder’s calls this “All Purpose Seasoning”— it instantly enhances any meat, seafood or vegetables you put it on.
