From the historic and beautiful Peloponnese region of Greece, Marifano, pitted kalamata olives are produced from world-famous Kalamata olive trees. They use only Grade A olives that are hand-picked, marinated and rubbed with Greek spices. They pack them in very little liquid so that you get a fresher tasting olive. They do not use any harsh chemicals in our ripening process, preferring to ripen them naturally over a period of 6-8 weeks. The result is an authentic Mediterranean taste experience.
