The 352-acre Shirtail Creek estate vineyard takes advantage of Monterey’s cooling fog and Pacific coastal breezes. The vineyard is drawn across the Gabilan Mountains into the Salinas Valley, in a microclimate that creates the ideal conditions for growing Chardonnay. The climate is famous for yielding wines with tantalizing tropical notes and crisp acidity. The moderate temperatures lengthen the growing season, allowing the fruit to evolve with layers of distinct Central Coast flavors.
Try pairing it with Asian chicken salad or grilled albacore tuna with melted anchovy butter and lemon.
