About this item

Dracaena Massangeana are a beautiful and verdant leaf variety that grows naturally in tropical climates. The soft arch of the stem spreads your arrangement horizontally into an explosion of green and yellow, strengthening the profile of the bouquet from all sides. Delicate flowers placed within it will shine with the contrast of the large, green structure and sculptural shape of the dracaena massangeana alongside them. The dracaena plant has an exotic and tropical feel but it is subtle enough to blend with whatever other florals you choose to include in your arrangement. They are an excellent choice of filler because of their ability to blend with other flowers no matter where they are from or what season they are presented in.

How Long Does Dracaena Massangeana Last?

They last very long, lending your arrangement a healthy verdure for at least a week, if not two-plus weeks when cared for properly.

How Do You Make Flowers Last Longer?

The most important thing you can do is keep the water clean in the vase in which your flowers are arranged. The water should be changed every other day to extend the life of the flowers and prevent bacteria from growing. The dracaena massangeana plant specifically will benefit from clean water as the leaves need to stay hydrated to stay green. The second thing you must do to make flowers last longer is trim the stems of the flowers so that they can continue to drink their fresh water. The stems should be trimmed about 1" every few days, or more frequently if they begin to look brown or rotten. This will in turn also prevent bacteria from growing within the vase.

How to Use Dracaena Massangeana

The dracaena corn plant is a common botanical in tropical climates and thus has a certain exotic feeling to it, but do not let that limit the ways in which you use it. Dracaena massangeana and dracaena marginata look just as natural alongside roses as they do birds of paradise or orchids, so use them as filler in whatever arrangement you wish and they will add a potent dash of green.

Please have someone available to receive and process the flowers on the delivery date.
