About this item

The classic Blue cheese from Denmark was originally developed as a substitute for Roquefort. It has the same characteristic of "Penicillium Roqueforti" mold that is added to create the famous blue marbling throughout the cheese. Today, Danish Blue is one of the most consumed blue cheeses in the world, making it a prime example of Denmark's quality and consistency in cheesemaking. Use in salad dressing, dips, pasta dishes, omelettes, crepes or serve for dessert with fresh fruit. Pairs well with Pinot Noir, Burgundy, Port and sweet white and red wines.
