What are Cow Tales Candy Made of?

Goetze's Candy Original Caramel Cow Tales launched in 1984 as a chewy, stick-shaped caramel filled with sweet vanilla cream. These Goetze's Candy Original Caramel Cow Tales candies are the dessert jerky of snacks. Goetze's Candy Original Caramel Cow Tales candy is made in four mouthwatering flavors: original caramel, chocolate, strawberry, and now caramel apple. Goetze's Candy Original Caramel Cow Tales are made from the same secret family recipe used to make Goetze’s Caramel Creams (a.k.a. “Bulls-Eyes”). Goetze’s uses the cow theme to promote Goetze’s Candy’s dedication to making caramel with quality ingredients, including real milk.

Where Did the Name "Cow Tales" Come From?

To keep the name from being taken literally, Goetze's used "Tales" instead of "Tails." Alluding to whimsical and nostalgic children's stories since this brand is a more lighthearted and fun rendition to Goetze's Caramel Creams® brand. Duke the Cow was introduced as the new face of Goetze’s Candy Original Caramel Cow Tales mascot in 2016.

Good to Eat and Cook With, Too!
