Why Sara Lee?

Sara Lee has been in the baking business since 1949 when baker Charlie Lubin created a new line of cheesecakes. He decided to name the bakery after his young daughter, Sara Lee. The cheesecakes and other sweet treats that Lubin created became so popular, he sold the business in 1956 and, in 1985, it has grown into the Sara Lee Corporation. In 2001, we expanded beyond sweet baked goods into bread products with the acquisition of The EarthGrains Company. Over the decades, Sara Lee’s products have delighted millions around the world, becoming one of the best-loved American brands.

What's Different About Sara Lee Artesano Bakery Bread?

Sara Lee Artesano bread has a rich flavor and creamy texture that tastes great no matter how you eat it. Plus, there are no added artificial flavors or colors, and it doesn't include any high fructose corn syrup.

Think Outside the Sandwich with Sara Lee Artesano Bakery Bread

Sara Lee Artesano bakery bread is delicious for making toast and even elevates a peanut butter and jelly sandwich into something special but there are so many ways to use it in mouth-watering recipes. Try Sara Lee Artesano bread toasted and dipped in olive oil and herbs, cut it into cubes and bake it in the oven to make crunchy croutons or use this Artesano bread with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes to make your own Caprese bruschetta.
