Slow Cooked Chicken Tacos

If you’re after a “set it and forget it” situation for dinner, these low-maintenance tacos are the move.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 jar (16 oz.) Pace® Chunky Salsa or Medium Picante Sauce
  • 12 flour tortilla (6-inch), warmed

Directions

  1. Season the chicken with the cumin and chili powder. Place chicken in a 6-quart slow cooker. Pour the salsa over the chicken.
  2. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or until the chicken is fork tender. Remove the chicken to a work surface.
  3. Using 2 forks, shred the chicken. Serve the chicken in the tortillas.
