Easy Spaghetti & Meatballs

Meatballs from scratch in under 30 minutes? It’s true. This saucy classic goes from pot to plate in a flash.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. uncooked spaghetti
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/3 cup seasoned dry breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 jar (24 oz.) Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce

Directions

  1. Cook and drain the spaghetti according to the package directions. While the spaghetti is cooking, mix the beef, breadcrumbs, egg, water, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper thoroughly in a medium bowl.
  2. Shape the beef mixture firmly into 12 (2-inch) meatballs. Arrange the meatballs in an 8”x11”x2” microwavable baking dish.
  3. Microwave on high for 5 minutes or until the meatballs are done. Pour off any fat. Stir in the sauce and cover. Microwave for 3 minutes or until hot. Serve with the spaghetti.
