Easy Spaghetti & Meatballs
Meatballs from scratch in under 30 minutes? It’s true. This saucy classic goes from pot to plate in a flash.
Ingredients
- 8 oz. uncooked spaghetti
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 cup seasoned dry breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 jar (24 oz.) Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce
Directions
- Cook and drain the spaghetti according to the package directions. While the spaghetti is cooking, mix the beef, breadcrumbs, egg, water, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper thoroughly in a medium bowl.
- Shape the beef mixture firmly into 12 (2-inch) meatballs. Arrange the meatballs in an 8”x11”x2” microwavable baking dish.
- Microwave on high for 5 minutes or until the meatballs are done. Pour off any fat. Stir in the sauce and cover. Microwave for 3 minutes or until hot. Serve with the spaghetti.
